WhatsApp iOS beta version has received a major update to bring a lot of notable features. It has jumped into version 126.96.36.199 which enabled quick media edit feature, notifications of download issues using a pinned alert in chats and removed the ability to save profile pics using 3D touch shortcut.
The multiplatform system will rule out an old feature where users had to pair mobile with the desktop PC or laptop to run whatsapp on laptop or desktop pc with both having an internet connection. This means users can now run their same whatsapp account on different devices simultaneously.
The rumors are there for quick media edit shortcut feature to provide editing of media files the user have received or sent through whatsapp. This edit feature was under review on both iOS and android but now it has been rolled out for testing. The multiplatform system will be something very new and interesting to use because it would let users to run the same Whatsapp account on iOS and Android run devices as well.
Rumors are there about Internet connection on the mobile for using whatsapp on the computer will not be needed anymore. Whatsapp features tracker WABetainfo also reported that Whatsapp is trying to improve its end to end encryption feature before unveiling this new system. In the future, this system is expected to give a possibility to use the same Whatsapp account on windows phone and Whatsapp for windows. All these new features are under planning and development and is expected to arrive soon after the company changes and fixes its bugs to ensure privacy and security to user’s messages.
