According to Napa County Sheriff’s Office, Nancy Pelosi, the husband of Nancy Pelosi (US Speaker of the House), was taken into custody for driving while impaired in Northern California.
According to records, Paul Pelosi had been arrested Saturday evening at 11:44 and was booked in at 4:13am on Sunday. He was released after being granted $5,000 bail.
He faces charges for driving while his blood alcohol level is 0.08 or more and driving under the influence. However, no additional details have been immediately released.
Nancy Pelosi is yet to acknowledge her husband’s arrest, even though her spokesperson stated that the arrest was made by the AP. “Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast.”
