Swiss cops seize half-ton of cocaine from espresso factory — Analysis

Local police disclosed that more than 500 kilograms of cocaine were found in coffee beans shipped to a Nespresso factory located in Fribourg in Switzerland.
The factory is located in Romont. Workers discovered the powder in a bag with fresh coffee beans on Monday. The find was reportedly 80% pure, and had a street worth of more than $50 million. (CHF 50 millions).
Police claim the drug did not come into contact with the actual coffee, insisting the unusual cargo was “It is isolated.” The investigation remains ongoing.
