A soldier from Iraq has demonstrated his skills with an armored personnel vehicle in Baghdad.
On Monday, a video showing an APC drifting through what appears to be an empty roundabout started making rounds on social media.
The soldier’s commanders did not exactly appreciate his imaginative use of the military hardware and issued a statement promising to punish the driver. A probe has been initiated to determine if he breached his security duties.

According to other regional media, the soldier was part of the security reinforcement deployed in the Iraqi capital following an assassination attempt on the country’s prime minister on Sunday, which saw an explosives-laden drone ram into Mustafa al-Kadhimi’s residence. Two more drones that attempted to attack the building were also shot down by security personnel. The country’s premier survived the attack unscathed, though several of his bodyguards sustained injuries.
