UN officials say guards kill 6 migrants detained in Libya

According to IOM, of the more than 5,000 migrants arrested earlier in October, 215 were children, and more that 540 were females. At least 30 were also pregnant. One of the migrant victims was found dead, while 15 were left with injuries. The crackdown began October 1st in Gargaresh (a western city that is a hub for migrants from Libya) and spread throughout the surrounding area.
