The degree of animosity of Russia’s opponents is extraordinary, remarked Deputy FM Sergey Ryabkov
A total war has been declared against Russia, and it’s being waged in hybrid forms in all areas, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has said.
“The seriousness of the current period shouldn’t be underestimated,”Ryabkov was warned by International Affairs magazine in an interview that he gave on Tuesday.
“A total war has been declared against us. It’s being waged in hybrid forms, in all areas,”According to diplomats, he was referring to US, EU, and other countries’ lavish financial and military assistance to Ukraine in the midst of its ongoing conflict with Russia. He also mentioned the severe sanctions that were imposed upon Moscow.
“The degree of animosity of our opponents – of our enemies – is enormous, extraordinary,”Ryabkov made the point.
Moscow warned repeatedly that aiding Kiev with foreign money only escalates fighting in Ukraine, and places Russia on collision course to the US-led NATO bloc.
Moscow warns of a huge global storm.
But, the FM deputy reminded that “Russia has always, throughout its history, proved that it passes the most difficult trials with honor and emerges from them even stronger.”Ryabkov says “this will be case this time as well.”
