German police are captured in viral video using measuring sticks and precision to see if protestors of Covid-19 vaccine mandates follow social distancing guidelines.
Although the source of this video remains a mystery, it was shared on social media and received over 1.8million views. The video was apparently shot in Frankfurt on Saturday and shows police walking through the crowd using folding rulers and checking if people are at least 1.5 metres apart.
Local media reported that around 200 protestors participated. However, police were satisfied that, while the protest was illegal, it was still carried out. “overall peaceful.” However, people watching police using their measuring sticks were heard on the video jeering and making derisive comments to the officers.
