The French president has said he seeks to protect the country from ‘world’s disorders’
French President Emmanuel Macron announced his re-run as president on Thursday. He would be the first French leader to serve two terms consecutively if he wins April’s elections.
“We did not achieve everything that we wanted to. There are choices that, with the experience I have gained from you, I would probably make differently,”Macron made these remarks in a note published by various regional newspapers.
French President Francois Hollande listed many crises during his tenure, which included the Covid-19 pandemic as well as protests, militant attack, and the current conflict in Ukraine.
“I’m running to protect our values, that are threatened by the world’s disorder.”He stated.
