Large fire kills 10 ICU Covid-19 patients in Indian hospital — RT World News
Ten Covid-19 patients have died after a fire broke out inside a hospital ICU in Ahmednagar, a city in India’s western Maharashtra state, on Saturday morning. Un one was also wounded.
Indian media reported that a preliminary investigation suggested the cause of the fire to be a short circuit. A second official claimed that the ICU was a recent addition to Covid-19 patients.
Uddhav Thackeray, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, ordered an inquiry into the incident. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that he was “anguished”The loss of life.
