At the Hyatt Ziva Resort Riviera Cancun, Mexico there has been a report of gunfire. Staff rushed to hide guests and employees after the shooter approached the hotel via the beach.
On Thursday, the shooting took place at the five-star hotel. Witnesses reported that a gunman entered the area from the beach adjacent and started shooting. Others contradictory reports suggest that“Men with machine gun” had stormed the beach.
Mike Sington, executive at NBCUniversal was present and described the experience as being shepherded. “a dark room deep in the hotel”You have to be careful.
Another terrified guest described an unidentified gunman coming to the isolated resort via the beach, lighting a fire in a volleyball match.
