Why Everyone Should Have an Indoor Rowing Machine

Home workouts are all the rage these days and for good reason! With gyms closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the only places you can work out these days are in your home or outdoors. For those of us who love the machines at the gym, this can be a big struggle. However, the good news is that you can actually get an amazing full-body workout in your waist trainer in your own home thanks to indoor rowing machines

Great Workout

Indoor rowing machines are a great way to work out your entire body on one piece of equipment! No more switching around to different areas, dedicating certain days to work out certain muscles, and spending more time than you really need to work out. This is because a rowing machine actually allows you to target 86% of your body’s muscles all at the same time. We know that sounds impossible but it’s really not.

The beauty of a rowing machine is that it really does target most of your different muscle groups without you even noticing it! Most people assume that a rowing machine is primarily an upper-body workout since you are pulling with your arms, but that’s not the case. In fact, a rowing machine targets your lower body just as much as it targets your upper body – if not more! You also work out other areas like your core and upper back with a rowing machine as well. Overall, a rowing machine will help you get the most out of your workout by targeting all of these areas at once while also increasing your heart rate and improving stamina to help you reach your fitness goals.

Relaxation

Another reason why everyone should have an indoor rowing machine in their home is that it can actually be a very relaxing workout. Some people like really intense workouts, but with everything going on in the world these days, it’s nice to disconnect and relax by doing a workout that brings you peace. This is what a rowing machine does! The soft whirr of the machine combined with the repetitive motions really allow you to get into the zone and relax. Some great rowing machines also include a screen with classes to make you feel like you’re really on the water and increase the relaxation factor.

Low-Intensity

Indoor rowing machines are also great for people who want a low-intensity but high-impact workout. Some people aren’t able to do high-intensity workouts for whatever reason either due to injury or disability. Indoor rowing machines are a great alternative to these types of workouts because there is little risk of injury and you aren’t putting a lot of pressure on your body to do the motion.

Avoid Crowds

Some people weren’t fans of the gym before the pandemic, but even if you were I think we can all agree that gyms are a risky place to be right now. That’s why having an indoor rowing machine in your house is so great. You can avoid the pressure of the gym with all of the convenience of having equipment in your own home! You are also able to avoid the germs at the gym to better protect your health.

Indoor rowing machines are a great way for anyone to get an awesome full-body workout in just a small amount of time every day. Avoid the crowds and germs at the gym and enjoy the convenience and safety of a quality piece of equipment in your own home that will help you improve your physical health as well as your mental health at the same time.
