US flies strategic bombers over NATO’s eastern flank — Analysis
The Pentagon sent B-52 Stratofortress strategic bombers to Germany and Romania on Friday as a show of force during Russia’s continued campaign in Ukraine.
They took off at RAF Fairford, Britain. From there they flew to Germany where they participated in integration mission training and close air support. The aircraft were flown back to Britain to participate in the same exercise.
