Least popular world leader revealed — Analysis
Morning Consult (a US-based data intelligence company) found that Boris Johnson, the UK Prime Minister, is currently the most popular leader in the world.
According to the results, Johnson was ranked last on a list that included 13. Johnson’s net approval rating is now at -43 with just 26% supporting him.
Among other leaders at the bottom of the table were French President Emmanuel Macron, on -25, and Brazil’s Jair Bolsonaro, on -19. According to polls, Narendra Modi, Indian Prime Minister was the most liked with a 50 percent approval rating.

Morning Consult’s average sample size is around 45,000 in the US, while the sample size ranges from 3,000 to 5,000 in other countries.
Johnson’s approval rating peaked during the first lockdown in 2020, but has dipped considerably in recent weeks, following the ‘Partygate’ scandal.
His arrest is in connection with the violation of the Covid–contagion restrictions. He faces calls for resignation.
The public was urged to forgive him and wait for the results of the internal inquiry into his violation.
