Donald Trump’s ex-wife, Ivana, has died aged 73. On Thursday, the former president declared her passing. He described his 16-year-old wife as “a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman.”
Trump broke the news of Ivana’s death in a post on his Truth Social media platform. “I am very sad to inform all of those that loved her, of which there were many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City,”He added that he had written the letter to Ivana and their three children. “were all so proud of her.”

Ivana Zelnickova, who was born in Czechoslovakia on May 29, 1949, immigrated to Canada in 1971. Trump met her while she was modeling in New York. They were married in 1976. Ivana assumed many roles at Trump Organization. These included managing the Plaza Hotel, Manhattan, as well as serving the CEO of Trump Castle Hotel and casino in Atlantic City.
Following her divorce with Trump in 1992 she wrote several books, and collaborated with many fashion labels. Trump hosted her 2008 wedding at Mar-a-Lago in Florida to Rossano Rubicondi, an Italian actor.
Donald Trump and Ivana had three children: Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka. She is survived by her ten grandchildren.
