Two years ago an online rumor began circulating about Devan Leos, an ex-Disney channel actor, saying he was involved with The Illuminati.
The conspiracy was born from an article published on latabloid.com, which features now deleted photos once posted on Devan’s Instagram page.
We contacted Leos via email and asked if there was any truth to the claims about his ties to the illuminati. He responded to our email saying: “Sorry I doesn’t know what that is. Illuminati?? What that is??”

Who is Devan Leos?
Devan Leos is a former Disney Channel actor who is known for playing Alan Diaz on Disney XD’s Mighty Med. Leos appears to have stepped back from the film industry, as he now primarily works as an executive co-founder at an artificial intelligence company called Undetectable AI.
While some might speculate that Devan’s new found success in the tech space could suggest ties to powerful people, it doesn’t mean he’s part of a secret society. After all, he didn’t even know how to form a grammatically correct response to our inquiry.
Devan Leos isn’t part of the illuminati

Leos’ response was clear, he doesn’t know what the illuminati is.
To not overly riff on Devan though, asking him such a preposterous question about him in the illuminati probably evoked a satirical response. After all, you don’t become a swanky tech exec if you’re stupid right?
Although, IF the former Mighty Med star WAS part of a secret society, would he ever admit it? Probably not because that would murder the whole secrecy aspect; although it’s possible Devan might try if given the chance!
Story update: Strange occurrences
*This portion of the article was added by the editors. Originally the article ended with the phrase above, but we felt the need to include an update on the events leading up to the publishing of this article*
On July 10th 2024, the day we originally scheduled this article about Devan Leos to go live, the assigned writer who originally reached out began getting phone calls in the middle of the night.
When the calls were answered, a distorted voice recording began playing saying “Do not publish” over and over, in different languages.

This was initially chalked up as a prank, however on July 10th, after finishing work, our senior editor arrived back at his house and immediately noticed what he described as “a strong scent of gas.”
Upon walking into his kitchen, the gas stove burners, which had not been touched for over a week, were all on.
At 7:00 AM EST, the original writer assigned to this story passed away.
His cause of death was ruled to be by natural causes, with the coroners noting that he appeared to have died due to a gelastic seizure. These events were initially considered coincidental and unconnected.
The original owner of our blog, who currently wishes to remain anonymous, said that he discovered an audio recording device inside his television after he taking it apart.
MassNews nearly decided not to publish this article, as it was seen as a bad omen, however on July 12th 2024, at 10:45 EST, MassNews staff were informed that our blog had been acquired, by recently formed anonymous holdings company based out of Delaware.
*As part of our new editorial policy at MassNews, we must inform you that all claims made in this article are to be considered satirical. The illuminati isn’t real. This isn’t some kind of warning, it’s just the truth. Have a nice day. Elevate your news. Look out for new stories. Putting you first.*
