Adam Milstein’s Continued Mission to Fight Hate

Adam Milstein is a businessman, entrepreneur, and action philanthropist who co-founded the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation alongside his wife, Gila. His philanthropic efforts have now become as renowned as his business success, but there are still many that aren’t aware of the work that Adam and the foundation are doing on a regular basis to fight hate and bigotry in America.

Here’s a bit of information about Adam Milstein’s background, his philanthropic efforts, and the mission of his foundation and its efforts.

Adam Milstein’s Background

Adam Milstein was born in the Israeli port city of Haifa. From an early age, he watched the example of his father who served as a soldier in the Israel Independence War of 1948 and the Suez War of 1958. Milstein’s father was also a successful real estate developer, and Milstein aspired to both his father’s belief in fighting for what is right and just and his success in business.

Milstein would later serve in the Israel Defense Force himself, most notably during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. After his service was complete, Milstein received a B.Sc. from the prestigious Technion and a MBA from USC and joined the commercial real estate market as a developer and investor. It was here in America that Milstein made a name for himself around the globe as a savvy and creative investor and property operator with an eye for upside potential and other opportunities that others may have missed.

After gaining his financial  freedom Milstein began focusing investing most of his time and resources on his philanthropic efforts.

Increased Philanthropic Efforts

As Milstein and his wife Gila became more successful, they both found themselves becoming increasingly passionate about the fight against antisemitism around the world. With antisemitic sentiments and violence on the rise both in the United States and abroad, they saw an opportunity to use their time, connections, funds, and skills to make a positive impact and fight extremism and hate in America and around the world.

Thus, the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation is dedicated to fighting hate, bigotry, and antisemitism worldwide as they partner with other voices and organizations to serve a mission that’s more vital today than it has ever been.

A Three-Pronged Mission

The Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation’s mission is based on three core values, each one enhancing the other to provide a powerful path forward in combatting bigotry both at home and abroad.

  1. Strengthening American values
  2. Solidifying and fortifying ties between the United States and Israel
  3. Combatting hatred and bigotry in the U.S. with an emphasis on battling antisemitism in all its forms

While the foundation’s emphasis focuses largely on antisemitism, the Milstein’s have said that they believe in combatting bigotry in all its forms around the globe. They not only pour funds and support into the foundation itself, but also support countless other non-profit organizations— both established and on the rise in order to help them fulfill their noble missions to fight hate.

The Future of the Work

One of the organizations that the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation has been supporting is StandWithUs, which is a partner organization working to end antisemitism through nonpartisanship and an emphasis on education. Together, the two Foundations hope to educate more people about Israel and create a more informed and less prejudiced mindset globally. The intended result? A greater sense of unity and peace among all people.
