US officials admit they’re literally just lying to the public about Russia — Analysis

NBC News published a hilarious new report that cited several anonymous US officials. The U.S. has broken with its past and is now using intelligence to win an information war against Russia. Even though intel isn’t solid. 

According to officials, the Biden administration was pushing for rapid exits “intelligence”Information about Russia’s Plans in Ukraine “low-confidence” or “Based more upon analysis than on hard evidence,”In order to wage an information war against Putin, it is possible for them to be false or misleading.

This report claims that the US government intentionally circulated unsubstantiated or false claims regarding impending chemical weapons attack, Russian plans for a false flag attack on the Donbass in order to justify invasion and Putin’s advisers misleading him. Also, Russia is seeking to obtain arms supplies from China.

President Joe Biden later said it publicly. But three U.S. officials told NBC News this week there is no evidence Russia has brought any chemical weapons near Ukraine. They said the U.S. released the information to deter Russia from using the banned munitions.

It’s one of a string of examples of the Biden administration’s breaking with recent precedent by deploying declassified intelligence as part of an information war against Russia. The administration has done so even when the intelligence wasn’t rock solid, officials said, to keep Russian President Vladimir Putin off balance.

And they did lie. Although they may claim they did so for noble reasons, they actually lied. They knew they circulated false information, which was amplified in all of the world’s most powerful media outlets. 

The Biden Administration also published a fake narrative in its attempt to deceive the public. “information war”:

On the empire’s claim last week that Putin is being misled by his advisors because they are afraid of telling him the truth, NBC reports that this assessment “wasn’t conclusive — based more on analysis than hard evidence.”

I really would made fun of this ridiculous CIA press release when it was uncritically published disguised as a breaking news report by The New York Times:

The NBC report also discussed other lies about the US government.

Another disclosure was made by U.S. officials. They stated that one of the reasons they did not provide Ukraine fighter jets with MiG is because intelligence indicated Russia would consider it escalatory.

It was so true. But it also held true for Stinger missiles which were provided by the Biden administrationAccording to two U.S. officials, the MiG information was declassified by the Administration to strengthen the argument that Ukraine should not receive them.

It was clear that the Biden government knew it was sending weapons in Ukraine to provoke an escalation. But it sent them anyway. And then it lied. Cool, cool, cool.

The NBC report confirmed rumors that we have been hearing for several months. Professional war cheerleader Max Boot said via The Council on Foreign Relations think tank in February that the Biden administration had ushered in “A new era in info operations”Intelligence releases intended not to inform the truth but influence Putin’s decision-making. John Sawers was the former MI6 chief told The Atlantic Council think tank in February that the Biden administration’s “intelligence”The releases relied more on an overall vibe rather than real intelligence. They were created to manipulate and not to inform.

In case you are wondering, NBC didn’t just publish a leak from whistleblowers in the US government, who bravely expose the lies of powerful people with the aid of the free media. One of the article’s authors is Ken Dilanian, who in 2014 was revealed to have worked as a literal CIA asset while writing for The LA Times. This is the message that an indoctrinated NBC viewer will receive when they watch this segment. Isn’t it amazing? “Isn’t this amazing? Our president pulls off cool 3D moves in chess to defeat Putin. We are kind of part of it!”

It’s been obvious for a long time that the US empire has been working to shore up narrative control to strengthen its hegemonic domination of the planet via internet censorship, propaganda, Silicon Valley algorithm manipulation, and the normalization of the persecution of journalists. This may be the moment of empire narrative control, where the government can start openly fabricating the consent of the people to lie for their benefit.

There seems to be widespread acceptance in liberal circles of the fact that the world’s most powerful government is using the strongest media institutions around the globe to lie to the public and gain strategic benefits. It will be easier for empire managers to continue accepting this.
