US approves weapons sales to Taiwan — Analysis

On Friday, the Biden administration officially notified the US Congress of its intention to sell anti-ship missiles and radars to Taiwan. It is estimated that the equipment’s total value and associated maintenance contracts amount to slightly more than $1.1 billion.
