Twin explosions hit army bus in Damascus, killing over a dozen people — RT World News

At least 13 people were killed when a bus that was crossing a Damascus Bridge, Syria, was attacked by terrorists. According to state media, two explosives were used to destroy the vehicle.

According to preliminary reports, the explosions also injured three people, Syria’s SANA agency said. It was believed that the attackers targeted a vehicle carrying Syrian military service personnel.

It was reported that the terrorist attack took place at Hafez al-Assad Bridge in central Damascus on Wednesday morning. According to reports, a bomb squad defused a third explosive device.

Online footage purporting to show firefighters extinguishing flames from the bus’ wreckage has been posted.
