Lego vows to remove gender bias from toys following Geena Davis Institute survey


The toymaker’s announcement also comes in response to a A global survey was conducted by Lego, the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media and commissioned by Lego. It found that both parents and children are still being influenced by stereotypical gendered career ideas. Young girls are also more willing to participate in activities that cut across “gender norms” than their male peers, the poll found.
