GTFSolutions Launches Powerful Proof of Funds (POF) Program to Empower Brokers and Clients with Verified Financial Backing

TORONTO, CANADA — GTFSolutions, a global leader in financial structuring and alternative funding, is proud to announce the expansion of its broker services to include Proof of Funds (POF) instruments tailored to meet the growing demand for verified liquidity in both commercial and real estate sectors.

This new offering enables brokers to help their clients demonstrate asset strength and financial readiness when applying for loans, securing credit lines, or closing high-value real estate transactions.

With a flexible entry point of $100,000 and no upper limit, GTFS’ POF program leverages a network of global investors to support financial credibility without requiring clients to liquidate assets or tie up working capital.

“Brokers now have a powerful tool at their disposal—one that allows their clients to qualify for financing and present a solid financial profile without jeopardizing their cash flow,” said Robert Wilson, Head of Sales and Marketing at GTFSolutions

“This program isn’t just about providing funds on paper. It’s about real, verifiable capital placed in regulated accounts—ready for scrutiny by any lender or institution.”

What is a Proof of Funds (POF)?

A Proof of Funds is a certified statement or bank-issued letter confirming that an individual or business has sufficient financial resources to complete a transaction. Commonly requested in:

  • Commercial loan applications
  • Lines of credit approval
  • Real estate purchases (especially pre-closing verifications)
  • Project finance agreements
  • Government tendering and RFP responses

GTFS’ POFS are fully compliant and bankable. They are backed by third-party investors whose capital is placed into legally structured accounts for the client’s temporary use. Importantly, the client never touches the investor’s capital—they only pay the agreed-upon interest or usage fee for the duration of the POF.

How the GTFS POF Program Works

  1. Broker Introduces Client: Brokers submit preliminary information about the client’s funding needs and intended purpose.
  2. Client Application & KYC: GTFS conducts standard Know Your Client (KYC) checks and reviews compliance.
  3. Investor Matching: GTFS matches the request with one of its many accredited global investors.
  4. Account Setup: A regulated account is opened in the client’s name or via third-party custodial trust, funded by investor capital.
  5. POF Letter Issued: The bank or legal custodian issues a verifiable proof of funds statement, confirming the existence and validity of the funds.
  6. Usage Fee Paid: The client pays only the interest fee, which is the cost of using the investor’s capital for the POF duration.

“It’s a fully secure, legally compliant model that provides clients the credibility they need without risking their liquidity,” added Wilson.

Use Cases for Brokers and Their Clients

1. Real Estate Development:
A broker recently brought a commercial real estate client seeking to close on a $14 million land acquisition. The seller required immediate proof of liquid capital. Within five business days, GTFS set up a POF for $15 million backed by investor funds. The deal closed immediately, and the broker earned a commission and a stronger relationship with the client.

2. International Trade Financing:
An importer from Singapore needed to provide a $5 million POF to secure favourable credit terms with a foreign supplier. The broker working with GTFS enabled the client to receive approval on a 120-day revolving line of credit.

3. Credit Line Qualification:
An American entrepreneur applied for a business credit line of $3 million. The bank required proof of cash reserves. A GTFS-issued POF met all requirements, and the bank approved the application, resulting in a line that helped fund a multi-state franchise rollout.

Investor-Backed, Legally Compliant

Every POF instrument provided by GTFS is backed by real investor capital placed in regulated accounts. This structure ensures compliance with banking laws, anti-money laundering (AML) standards, and international finance regulations.

“There’s a difference between smoke-and-mirrors ‘letters’ and actual investor-backed funds,” explained Wilson. “We only deal in real money. That’s what makes lenders, sellers, and regulators take notice—and say yes.”
