Who is Dmitry Muratov, Russian journalist and co-winner of the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize?


Muratov was born in Russia in 1961, in Samara (then known as Kuibyshev). He was born in the last years of the Soviet Union. After completing his studies at Kuibyshev State University, he entered journalism and became an editor of Komsomolskaya Pravda, a party newspaper.
