North Korea mulls reviving ‘all temporarily-suspended’ defense activities — Analysis

North Korean officials want to strengthen the defense system and they are looking at restarting “all temporarily-suspended activities,”On Thursday, state media reported the news. Media analysts speculated that this could be a return of tests for nuclear weapons or long-range rockets. However, no further details were provided.

On Wednesday, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un held a meeting of the politburo of the ruling Workers’ Party to discuss important policies, which included possible countermeasures against the US’ “hostile policy and military threat,”As cited by state media. 

The possibility of a political politburo was examined “restarting all temporarily-suspended activities” “immediately bolstering more powerful physical means”To prepare for an event, “long-term confrontation with US imperialism.”
