Major taxi company suspends all Tesla Model 3s over ‘serious accident’ — Analysis

G7, a leading Paris taxi firm has declared it will stop using Tesla Model 3 cars in its fleet after an accident which left more than a dozen people hurt.

The suspension will only affect 37 taxi drivers in the company’s fleet, but will continue until a police investigation into last week’s crash concludes.

Yann Ricordel, G7 deputy chief executive, said to Reuters that the accident occurred while a driver wasn’t on duty Saturday night. According to reports, the taxi started aggressively acceleration and lost control. Multiple pedestrians were injured and damage was caused in Paris’ 13th arrondissement.
