A person who is familiar with the situation said that Jack Dorsey (the co-founder and chief operating officer of Twitter Inc.) has resigned.
Dorsey is 45 and also heads Square Inc., a payments company. He has recently been interested in crypto currencies more than ever.
CNBC first reported Monday’s news without giving any further details. Twitter couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
