Hospital hit by deadly shooting — Analysis

According to police, a shooter killed four people at Tulsa Hospital before taking his own lives. This tragedy happened just weeks after mass shootings that killed dozens in Texas and New York.
Four people were killed when a shooter opened fire at the Natalie Building, Saint Francis Hospital’s second floor, according to police.
Saint Francis Health System (which runs the clinic) confirmed that four staff members had died.
Eric Dalgleish of the Tulsa Police Department told reporters that officers arrived on scene in less than four minutes after being alerted by an active shooter. According to him, the suicide victim was killed. No details have been released so far about the suspect’s identity.
Tulsa Police Department Captain Richard Meulenberg told CNN later that multiple people had been injured by gunfire.

“What happened today in Tulsa is a senseless act of violence and hatred,” Governor Kevin Stitt said, offering condolences to the victims’ families and thanking Tulsa police for their actions.
According to the White House, a brief statement was released saying President Joe Biden was informed of the tragic events.
Eight days ago, a gunman aged 18 killed 19 children and two teachers at Robb Elementary school in Uvalde in Texas. The Tulsa shooting occurred in the same eight-day period. Law enforcement killed the shooter.
A gunman aged 18 entered Buffalo’s grocery store on May 14, killing 10 people. According to reports, the suspect wrote a manifesto supporting racism and neoNazi views. He was arrested.
