Haiti sees nearly 800 kidnappings so far this year, NGO says

CARDH reported that at most 782 kidnappings occurred between 16 October and 2020, as opposed to 796 in 2020. CARDH stated that actual figures could be higher because many people are reluctant to report abductions in fear of retribution from the gangs.
