Belgium to help Polish women travel aboard for abortions


An October 2020 determination from Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal made abortion unlawful besides in circumstances of incest, rape or when the mom’s life is at risk. Particularly, it dominated that abortion on account of fetal abnormalities was unconstitutional — successfully outlawing about 98 p.c of the abortions that had been going down in Poland. Proponents of the restriction argued that it was, partly, a means of stopping the abortion of fetuses with Down syndrome.
