1999 - Although the news that Channel 2 was trading
fund-raising lists with the Democratic National Committee had
been in the back column of Boston newspapers a month earlier,
it wasn't until MassNews put the story on the front page of
its second issue that it became a national scandal. The story
broke in Congress only a few days after our paper was mailed. |
