Gov.
Cellucci Discovers that Political Climate Has Changed

May
2001 - Gov. Cellucci's problems began after Fistgate
revealed his sexual policies in the schools. It changed the
political climate of the state. When Cellucci was appointed
U.S. Ambassador to Canada, the unhappiness of the populace
followed him to Washington where he appeared with Sen. Kerry
and Kennedy. His nomination was saved only after he gave a
written promise to Sen. Helms that he would follow the beliefs
of Pres. Bush and not his own. The concerns about Gov.
Cellucci would never have been expressed without the reporting
of MassNews.
