Jeannine Graf Fired Popular Talk Show Host Is Punished by 96.9FM-WTKK By
J. Edward Pawlick The popular Jeannine Graf has been fired by radio station 96.9FM-WTKK because she exposed the scandal of Fistgate last summer. The station is owned by the Greater Boston Radio Group which also owns 92.9FM-WBOS, 106.7FM-WMJX, 99.5FM-WKLB, and 105.7FM-WROR. Graf came under immediate attack last June from homosexual activists for her courageous actions. The station suddenly began to rotate her to different time slots as a prelude to her eventual removal. She was the only member of the media with the courage to report on the subject. Most of the press were afraid of the story. The Boston Globe defended Fistgate and even printed a vicious personal smear against Graf. (See sidebar) In reporting about the scandal, Graf made many enemies in the establishment. Because of the publicity she generated, the Department of Education was forced to apologize to the parents of the state and fire two of its teachers who had taught “fisting” and other explicit homosexual sex to students, some as young as 12-years-old. Although Gov. Cellucci’s staff apologized to the state, he has never mentioned the matter himself because it is embarrassing that his political favors to activist homosexuals are being displayed so openly.
