July 2--It's satisfying to know we've played a small part in forcing the psychologists of America to apologize for publishing a study which said that pedophilia can have a positive influence on a child. 

However, we're not doing as well with the psychiatrists. Dr. Mogul of Newton, a top official in the psychiatric association, is holding firm to her position that the psychiatrists are notattempting to normalize the molestation of children. 

She'll be surprised to learn that influential psychiatrists in her association believe they have gone too far in protecting pedophiles. I am not at liberty to divulge the names of those psychiatrists, but she will be shocked when she learns who they are. 

Although this might seem a little confusing, it becomes clear when a reader understands that there are two organizations with the acronym of APA. One is the psychologists and the other is the psychiatrists. Even the Boston Globe got confused in an article (May 30) when it stated that Dr. Mogul is a member of the American Psychological Association, when she is, in fact, a psychiatrist and an important member of the American Psychiatric Association. 

But we mustn't be too harsh on Dr. Mogul because the psychologists haven't really changed either. They realize they went too far too fast. They are only backing off; they have not given up. 

They will not change as long as they have a "Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual 
Concerns Office" inside their organization. It provides "policy analysis." It also supports "APA policy development"  and "advocates APA policy on lesbian, gay, and bisexual concerns in psychology." 

As long as that office is entrenched deep within the bowels of the APA, you can be assured that the organization will not change. 

Why is it that the homosexuals who have such a strong voice in running 
the APA and many other homosexuals (not the majority, but a very vocal 
group of activists) see any discussion of pedophilia as an attack upon 
homosexuals? 

As an example, why did the Boston Phoenix print a column by the activist 
Michael Bronski in March 1999 where he stated that any concern about 
pedophilia is only "gay bashing?" 

Why did my article about pedophilia (which encouraged the psychologists 
to apologize) cause the City of Newton and Gov. Cellucci's officials to stage a rally, "How Will Newton Respond to Hate Mail?" 

The truth was inadvertently stumbled upon at the Newton meeting by the inept Dr. Mogul who thought she was at a "pep rally" for homosexuals. She reported that only 30% of pedophiles are homosexuals. But Dr. Mogul (and the audience) was stunned into total silence when Evelyn Reilly asked this question. Doesn't that obviously mean that homosexuals are ten times more likely to be pedophiles because they are only 3% of the population? (Even if you were to claim that they are 10% of the population, this would still mean that they are three times more likely to be a pedophile.) 

Reilly's question also raised the issue as to how Dr. Mogul and the other panel members could sit there and laugh at the very real concern about pedophiles who might try to infiltrate the Gay/Straight Alliances. Growing numbers of citizens in the Commonwealth wonder why the GSA's have been pushed into all of our schools by Governors Weld and Cellucci. 

There is no doubt, as Dr. Mogul inadvertently revealed, that homosexuals 
are an important aspect of pedophilia. The strongest advocate for the premise that pedophilia is beneficial to children is the homosexual group, the North American Man/Boy Love Association. They were organized solely for the purpose of lowering the age of consent to twelve or less so that a pedophile can have sex with boys regardless of the mother, father or the police. 

The Phoenix columnist, Michael Bronski, advocated in his column that 
children should have power over their own lives. In other words, he wants children to be able to consent to sex with a pedophile without any regard to the authority of their mother, father or the police. 

Anyone who tries to deny that homosexuals are an important part of pedophilia is not telling the truth. Until the responsible members of the homosexual community begin to face that issue, we will continue to have problems. 

And please remember. In all of our articles at Massachusetts News, we have expressed concern about what we teach our children. We are not trying to change the conduct of adults. We think they are foolish, but it is their choice, and we would not and can not interfere with them. 

Also remember. No one has shown any inaccuracy in anything we have
