GLSEN Raises Money at Party to Sue Parents

December 2000

A fundraising party for GLSEN was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Braintree, with events also held at the Randolph Country Club, from November 17-19, to raise money to sue the parents who taped the Fistgate conference. It is estimated that the two parents who have been sued will have to pay about $200,000 in legal fees to defend themselves from the illegal suit.

Attendees came from across the country to attend the fundraiser. The event was sponsored by a group which raises money for homosexual organizations, the Royal Commonwealth Society. The main event was a ball in the Grand Ballroom of the hotel on Saturday evening titled, "Adornment V, The Oldest Profession Meets the New Millenium: A Return to the Chicken Ranch."
