Brian Camenker was presented an award by Toward Tradition during a banquet at the Washington Hilton and Towers in Washington, D.C. last month because of his work in exposing the Fistgate scandal.

The organization was founded by Rabbi Daniel Lapin. Other recipients included House Majority Whip Tom DeLay.

The award was presented to Camenker by Dr. Jeffrey Satinover of Yale University, author of Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth, who referred to Camenker as "courageous" and compared him to Cincinnatus, "another simple man who left behind a tranquil life to fight for what was right."
