The Original Massachusetts news was founded as a hard copy newspaper by Attorney J. Edward Pawlick in 1998 as a conservative alternative to the Boston Globe, after he had retired from a distinguished career as the founder and CEO for twenty-five years of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.

In 2004, Pawlick converted Massachuetts News into an "Internet" paper, and discontinued the print version.   PDF copies of the original MassNews are still available on this server.  

After his death in October of 2007, the Massachusetts News corporation was liquidated, but the domain was purchased by a former employee.  Email correspondence can be sent to eric (at) massnews.com.
