Can You Still Subscribe to Massachusetts News?

Some people have asked whether they can still join the thousands of subscribers to Massachusetts News. The answer, of course, is yes.

When Attorney J. Edward Pawlick began the paper in 1998, it was conceived as an Internet site, the same as WorldNetDaily and other successful sites. But things were different back then. The Internet was not as pervasive as now. Many of the people we were trying to reach just didn't know anything about the Net. But now most do and are happy to get their news every day in that fashion. Five years from now, everyone will be getting their newspapers on printers in their homes. The days of printing presses are numbered.

In addition, we had the powerful New York Times subsidiary, the Boston Globe, trying to put us out of business. I don't know how many of you can remember when the entire power structure in the City of Newton, including the Mayor, Superintendent of Schools and 100 others, including many homosexuals but not many ordinary citizens, came to a "Hate Pawlick" rally in the City Hall

It was right after that rally that Attorney Pawlick decided that the Globe would destroy us unless we had our own print paper. So in June 1999, we began our print paper and mailed it once a month to 250,000 people (one-half the circulation of the Globe) across the state. That got their attention. But it was very, very expensive printing that many copies with full color on every page.

After five years of that expense, Attorney Pawlick decided that we were finally ready for an all-Internet presence, now that the majority had it available and more are coming on every day.

However, we still produce a newsletter-type publication for those who are still not on the Net, and for those who do not want to miss anything important or who just wish to help keep this alternative effort alive in Massachusetts. The newsletter is produced on an as-needed basis when something important happens. If someone is disappointed, they can always ask for their money back.

But we can guarantee you will receive at least one additional item this year that will be worth more than the cost. So, yes, most of you will want to subscribe.

Don't ever forget that 3% of the people in the world make things happen, 7% watch and the other 90% don't even realize that anything is happening.
