ABC Television Removes
Footage on 9/11 Miniseries ABC Television
caved to political pressure from former Pres. Clinton over the weekend
and removed numerous scenes from its miniseries that could have been
construed as critical of the Clinton administration before airing
Part One last night.
Traditional Values Coalition
Executive Director, Andrea Lafferty, called ABC Television’s
attempts to appease the angry former President “a travesty of
American journalism.”
“ABC Television invited
me to preview the docudrama,” said Lafferty. “The ABC
executive at the preview made it clear that some scenes were a compilation
of a few events, but that the docudrama was factual. Lawyers from
ABC vetted all of this thoroughly, but that didn’t stop the
executives from caving in when Mr. Clinton threw a fit.
” Mr. Clinton doesn’t
want the American people to know that he and his team sat on their
hands after terrorists attacked a U.S. Navy ship and bombed the World
Trade Center the first time,” said TVC Chairman, Rev. Louis
P. Sheldon.
One Scene Bill Clinton Doesn't Want Anyone to See:
Above Scene Shows NSA Secretary Sandy Berger
miss the perfect opportunity to
kill Osama Bin Laden. Despite the fact that Pres. Clinton acknowledged
the event
as factual, he still insisted this scene be cut.
The Traditional
Values Coalition has posted all six of the deleted segments on YouTube
and are linked on their site, which can be seen
