Morse
Will Ask Congress to Reprimand Barney Frank for Allowing Terrorists
into the Country
In
a speech to be delivered tomorrow to the National Federation
of Republican Assemblies, Republican candidate Chuck Morse
will ask Congress to reprimand his opponent Rep. Barney Frank
for his authorship of legislation which created legal grounds for
terrorists to obtain visas.
Claiming
that immigration laws were unduly restrictive, Frank successfully
pushed for legislation in the 1990s that has made it possible for
even the most radical of terrorists to obtain visas, unless it was
proven that individual had engaged in a specific terrorist act.
This
was all changed by the Patriot Act in 2001. However the FBI is still unable to find all
of the 10,000 people of interest that entered under the Frank
Amendment.
