Who Will Protect the President and the Nation from the
Unsightly Conduct of Senator Charles Schumer and Pinch Sulzberger?
By MassNews Staff
Sen. Chuck Schumer has become such a dire enemy of President
Bush that he can sit quietly while a friend says that the Senator
would enjoy firing a bullet into the President’s head.
The Senator is having a difficult time understanding
1) what is permissible by him in a democracy in his official
role to elect more Democrats to the Senate this fall and 2) what is literally treasonous behavior.
Someone must challenge him and the New York Times, which
gives him his huge megaphone and is owned by his close friend
and mentor, Arthur O. Sulzberger, Jr. (Pinch).
Huge
Change from 9/11
This is a huge change from Senator Schumer’s behavior
in 2001 when 9/11 had him singing the praises of the President:
''I spoke to the president and he told me it's a blank
check,'' the Senator said on Sept. 12. ''He's been really forthcoming
and open about helping New York.
He called me within three hours of the event. I believe he [will
fly to New York
and] will be here in due time. He's been a real friend in this
crisis, and we don't need people taking shots at him right now.''
As the New York Times wrote at the time:
“Senator Charles Schumer was near tears as he spoke on
the Senate floor of the vast number of New Yorkers with relatives
and friends who are missing. 'I know of a call,' he said, ‘someone on the 104th floor
who worked for the good firm of Cantor Fitzgerald -- we can't
find hardly anybody from that firm -- who called his parents,
told them he loved them, and they haven't heard from him since.’”
He said on camera at the time: ''This is Pearl
Harbor, 21st century.''
It all changed when Schumer realized that this tragic
event was uniting the people of the nation behind the President
-- and this would hurt Schumer’s efforts to elect more Democrats.

Pinch Sulzberger Controlled Schumer
Sen. Schumer was horrified by what happened at the World
Trade Center,
but his mentor, Pinch Sulzberger tried to keep things in check
at the New York Times even though his staff there mirrored the
concern of the nation.
Now both Schumer and Sulzberger are united in attacks
against the President. Talk of America
being at war is forbidden. It is no longer a “war” as it was
when all called on the President to do something in the days
after 9/11. Now the war against terror is a figment of the President’s
imagination in order to unite the people behind him and make
political points.
Sen.
Schumer is Winning
Much of the American public is losing its will in the
fight against terror as Senator Schumer attacks the President
very effectively every night on national television and the
New York Times leads the fight.
All citizens, particularly women, are distraught at the
carnage. How could anyone not be? And the number of American
men who have engaged in war to protect their country have dropped
precipitously, which makes it easier for a demagogue like Schumer
(who also has never experienced wartime service for his country)
to operate.
The President’s approval rating
shot up five points on Zarqawi’s death
but it will not last long with Schumer and the Times blasting
away at him every day with no one defending him.
Who will defend Pres. Bush?
