Sen. Schumer Demonstrates He Is Not Happy with Victory
by American Soldiers, All He Wants Is a Win in Next Fall’s Elections
While no one expects that Chuck
Schumer will be the one to “put a bullet” in President Bush’s
head, the Senator does that figuratively almost every day, as
evidenced by his sitting quietly while his friend, Comptroller
Hevesi, made the unbelievable statement that the Senator would
enjoy firing that bullet. It certainly demonstrates Schumer’s
mind-set.
Even yesterday,
when Bush announced the killing of Zarqawi, all that the Senator
could manage to say was: “Sooner of later, evil people meet
their just desserts. The entire world of people who believe
in freedom and peace can take solace in what happened.”
He showed
no joy that this man who was killing American soldiers and other
innocent people had been stopped from further savagery. If he
showed joy, that would help the President unite this country
and possibly damage the Democrats.
As the person
officially in charge of electing more Democrats to the Senate
this fall, he believes his appointed mission is to destroy George
Bush.
The
poll numbers of the President will continue at an all-time low
no matter what happens because that is Sulzberger’s mission
--- at which he is very good --- not to help the country but
to help Senator Schumer’s national ambitions and the Democrats.
The Senator
has a difficult time understanding what is fair comment about
the leader of the other party in a democracy and what is over-the-top
and almost treasonous in a country that is at war after the
9/11 attack in Schumer’s hometown.
All the Senator
wants is to “win.” |
