NPR Dominates Brit Hume’s Panel Again
The state-owned National Public Radio totally dominated the Brit Hume panel on Fox News again last night. Of the three panelists, two were from the state-owned network, Juan Williams and Maura Liasson.
It is obvious that Fox gives Hume no say about who appears on his show even though he is prominently listed as “Managing Editor.” Someone from the New York office of the Network is obviously assigning his panel members.
This is true because conservatives take it for granted that Hume will always be there even though all the signs to the opposite are present. Hume is particularly irritated by Williams, who talks very loud and fast most of the time. This makes it difficult for the panel to have an intelligent discussion about almost anything.
Last night, Juan Williams talked his loudest when discussing Pres. Bush’s statement that it was an historic moment in world history when Iraq finally created the first democratic government in the Moslem world on Saturday. We will never know the full thoughts of Brit or the other panelists on that matter.
