The Two Liberal Families Who Own the New
York Times and Washington Post Have a Good Time Saying Conservative
President Bush Should be Impeached for Corruption, even though They
Have Their Own, Private Lobbyists Who Happen to Be Corrupt Congressman
and Senators
The two liberal families who own "The New York Times
Company" and the "Washington Post Company" are having
a wonderful time intimating in their news stories that the conservative
President Bush should be impeached for "corruption". But they're
not telling anyone about the corruption on the liberal side.
They don't report that U.S. Senator,
Chuck
Schumer, who is leading the attack against the conservatives, is merely
doing the bidding of the New York Times, nor that he is a close
personal friend of Pinch Sulzberger who elevated him from an obscure
New York Congressman to U.S. Senator.
Although we have not been following the
Washington Post long enough to know their present "staff"
on Capitol Hill, we know they're there. The owners of the Post have
always been well-connected since the paper's birth.
The founder (Katherine Graham's father)
resigned in 1946 at President Truman's request, to become the first
President of the World Bank.
After his resignation, Katherine's husband,
Philip Graham, became Publisher and served from 1946 until his suicide
in 1963. He also was well-connected. After graduation from Harvard Law
School in the top of his class, he clerked for the liberal Felix Frankfurter
on the U.S. Supreme Court, who was his mentor in Washington. He was
a close friend of President Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson. He was deeply
involved in the choice of Johnson. His brother became Governor of Florida
and U.S. Senator after Philip's death.
