Banner Update

The
MassNews planes are grabbing attention all over Massachusetts. Yesterday,
one plane took
off from the Beverly Airport at 1:30 pm towing the letter banner MARSHALL'S
PANEL SAYS COURTS "MIRED IN CONFUSION" and flew over the following
places: Beverly, Peabody, Lynnfield, Wakefield, Woburn, Burlington,
Billerica, Lowell where he met up with two more planes, which were towing
the two large flying billboards, "JUDGE MARSHALL RESIGN" and
"MARSHALL'S COURTS ARE A DISASTER".
At about 2:30 in the afternoon,
we received an email from an elated individual in Lowell who was unfamiliar
with MassNews until he saw the planes. He wrote:
"I just saw
your planes over M/A-Com up here in Lowell and wanted to let you know
that my wife and I appreciate your efforts. I'll
be reading your newsletter now that I know it's there…"
After
meeting over Lowell, the three planes circled in formation over downtown
Lowell and then continued on in a formation of three planes over the
following places: Tewksbury, Wilmington, Woburn, Stoneham, Medford,
Somerville. They proceeded to fly over their regular spots in the metro
Boston area like Cambridge and Harvard Square Area, downtown Boston
(circling over the State House and the SJC Building), and then flew
west over Brighton and Waltham. The first plane returned to its airfield
in Beverly and the other two planes continued on in a formation
over the Metrowest area, eventually landing in Fitchburg.
