Mass. Press Doesn’t Report that Emile Goguen’s Resolution to Remove Four SJC Judges Will Be Voted on this Year
By MassNews Staff
The Massachusetts press is not reporting that Rep. Emile Goguen’s Resolution to “Remove” four SJC judges will be voted on this year, even though the House Majority Leader, Sal DiMasi, is on record as assuring Goguen that the vote will take place.
This newest failure by the press comes from the usually fair Steve LeBlanc at Associated Press in Boston. In his A.P. article for today’s papers (Monday, Sept. 12) he reports that support for an “anti-gay” marriage amendment has collapsed on Beacon Hill.
It should be noted that the Associated Press in Boston is tightly controlled by the Sulzberger family, owners of the multibillion dollar New York Times/Boston Globe conglomerate. It should also be noted that another veteran staffer from the A.P. quietly vanished earlier this year after she apparently became too independent for the Sulzbergers.
Goguen’s Resolution would remove the four SJC judges immediately this year and homosexual marriage would be ended now, not four or more years from now. And the press refuses to report that event. Goguen tells MassNews that he expects that the four judges will retire in order to keep their retirement benefits of over $1 million each, which would be in peril if they are removed by the legislature.

Closing of Legislative Session Did Not Affect Goguen’s Resolution
The arrival of August which usually closes the legislative session, had no effect on Goguen’s Resolution to “Remove” the four SJC judges who voted in favor of homosexual marriage, Rep. Goguen has told MassNews.
He says that a vote will be held in the House before the end of the year. He has been assured by Speaker DiMasi that a vote will occur and he fully expects that the Speaker will follow his pledge.
The only thing that will stop a vote to “Remove” the four judges (Margaret Marshall, John Greaney, Roderick Ireland and Judith Cowin) is if they resign first, according to Rep. Goguen, who believes they will resign.
The resignations are necessary to stop the destruction of the Democratic Party says Goguen, who has been an enthusiastic Democrat for many decades. He notes that many Democratic pundits across the country have been blaming the defeat of John Kerry on Chief Justice Margaret Marshall and that pressure is growing.
The only way that the judges will be assured of keeping their pension benefits (which are said to be over $1 million each) is to resign before they are Removed by a simple majority vote of the legislature. If it becomes necessary, such a vote would divide the Party and seriously damage it, says Goguen.

Bad Guys Hoping to Delay a Vote
“The bad guys are hoping to delay this vote until the citizens grow bored and tired of the issue as finally happened last year to the citizens in Vermont,” Sally Pawlick, Founder/President of Massachusetts Citizens for Marriage, stated last month.
“Therefore, all citizens are urged to keep the subject alive everywhere across the country,” she said.
She noted at that time that her husband, Attorney J. Edward Pawlick, founder of MassNews, has become a fulltime writer in order to publicize this across the entire nation.
“Ed is very enthused about the reception he is getting outside the state over his  book, ‘Libel by New York Times’, which tells how Pinch Sulzberger’s billion dollar conglomerate of the New York Times/Boston Globe is destroying America.
“And that message is being heard. The former CBS reporter, Bernard Goldberg, emphasized that strongly in his newest book, which lists Judge Marshall as seventh in his list of ‘100 People Who Are Screwing Up America’, close behind the owner of the New York Times, Pinch Sulzberger, who is listed as number 2 in the list of 100.
“What is very interesting (although not said by Goldberg) is that his first blockbuster book in 2002 talked vaguely about ‘journalists’, but actually mentioned only people in television. Out of the ten most dangerous in his new book, eight of them have been targeted by Ed. The only two in the top ten that have escaped his scrutiny are Michael Moore (number one) and Jimmy Carter (number six).
“Ed notes that while Goldberg is an excellent person, we must understand that he is still a New York City liberal and does not yet consider himself a conservative.”
