Our first issue (June 1999) focused on the tragedy of a small boy at the Falmouth Hospital who suffered terribly from a state-required vaccination for Hepatitis.  He was two-years-old and trying to recover at home. The state was trying to squelch all public discussion about the unnecessary Hepatitis vaccine.

            We wrote extensively (in later issues) about the drug Ritalin, which is used mostly to sedate young boys whose energy is causing problems for teachers (and some parents) who have never been small boys and do not understand them nor want to learn. We have written about other drugs at other times too numerous to mention.

            Therefore, we were extremely happy to see the cover of Business Week magazine this week (Feb. 28) and read that the enormous drug company, Pfizer is now in a “funk” with a “dearth of new products and fears over drug safety hurting the entire industry.”

            The cover asks, “Is there a fix?” And we answer, “Yes”: 1) get the doctors back to treating patients, instead of being fulltime salesmen for drug companies, 2) stop the insane demands for Universal Health Care, which will destroy our medical establishment and put the drug companies in total charge.
