Farm Gets Praise from FDA for Eggs that Fight Against High Cholesterol A Massachusetts egg farm has gotten special recognition from the Food and Drug Administration for its claims about good cholesterol in its eggs. The Country Hen, Hubbardston, is reporting that the FDA says: “Supportive but not conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.
