Tough to Defeat Incumbent Senators
There were challengers against all ten
incumbent Senators, but none scored much above 40% even though there
were some excellent candidates.
Four did well enough
to consider another run in two years now that they are more seasoned
and might receive help from Article 8.
Attorney Timothy Duncan (R-Falmouth) scored 42%
in his bid against incumbent Therese Murray (D-Plymouth), the powerful
boss of the Senate Ways and Means Committee who sent 100 union thugs
to stop and rock the car of Duncan and his family, but Duncan did
not follow through on the disgraceful event. (Click

Rod Jane (R-Westborough), a former President
of Honeywell, also did well, getting 40% against incumbent Pamela
Resor, who was endorsed by the homosexual activists.
John Thibault (R-Chelmsford) also scored
40% in his run against Susan Fargo (D- Lincoln), a darling of the
homosexual activists.
Bob Joyce (An Indpendent-Roslindale) scored
below the magic 40% mark at 38% but impressed enough people for
another try against incumbent Marian Walsh (D-Boston) who was supported
by all the usual homosexual organizations.)
Four other races had
good, but unsuccessful, candidates and two more were unknown candidates.
