1. THE BOSTON
GLOBE ATTACKS ARTICLE 8 ALLIANCE! === In the last week before the election,
the gloves come off. . . Two articles over last few days (possibly
more on the way Monday or Tuesday): Thursday, Oct. 28: "Activist says his goals are common
- Some candidates shy from his backing."
The Globe does a "profile" on Brian
Camenker of Article 8 Alliance / Parents Rights Coalition. Specially timed for just before the election.
The usual Boston Globe condescension.
FULL of factual errors.
Quotes from academic egghead "experts" who put down the movement. And, of course, they refused to interview
any candidates, or others, who have a POSITIVE view of Article 8. So what's new? Read
the article here: Sunday, Oct. 31: "A twisted message." Opinion column by their Pulitzer-prize
winning columnist Eileen McNamara. The ultimate attack article. You've got to read this just to see what
the Globe is capable of. McNamara
is a shrieking cultural Marxist on her good days, but she really
outdoes herself in this one.
It's a rambling, illogical, piece displaying her rage over
Article 8's discussion about State Rep candidate Carl Sciortino's
bizarre, anti-Catholic activities. Hmmm. It seems to bother them that we're
actually bringing out the truth. And click here for our collection
of Carl Sciortino's activities. === 2. DAVID SHNAIDER ENDORSED
BY WORCESTER TELEGRAM
=== Yes, the left-leaning Worcester Telegram
is officially endorsing pro-marriage challenger David Shnaider over
anti-family Sen. Robert Antonioni.
Shnaider is a GREAT candidate who has come out strong. Antonioni is anti-marriage and cooperated
with Planned Parenthood to help blocked the new Parents Rights bill.
But Antonioni shouldn't worry, he still has the glowing endorsement
of the homosexual lobby SupportEquality. === 3. DON'T FORGET THE IMPORTANT
CONGRESSIONAL RACES !!
=== We are fortunate to have two outstanding
Congressional candidates who are taking on hard-core pro same-sex
marriage incumbents. CHUCK MORSE Fourth Congressional
District. Chuck's up against Rep. Barney Frank
who is, in our humble opinion, the most odious of the Massachusetts
delegation. Barney
hasn't had a serious opponent in a long time.
Chuck Morse is unbelievably impressive and has a great campaign. An Barney's so arrogant, he's spending
election day helping the even-more-odious Carl Sciortino! RON CREWS Third Congressional District. Ron's taking on Rep. James McGovern,
who is just slightly to the right of Fidel Castro on most issues.
Ron Crews would be a really refreshing change in Washington,
DC., and has the legislative experience to make things happen.
McGovern is an embarrassment to the entire state. You MUST get out and vote on Tuesday!
And DO NOT FORGET about these important congressional races. === 4. Latest statewide emails
to mobilize homosexual activists for election.
=== They've got enormous amounts of money
(at least several hundred thousand dollars). In the primaries even brought people in
from other states. They
are out for blood to change your Legislature and thoroughly intimidate
anyone from crossing them.
As we're learning, they will be out in force campaigning
hard deceive the voters. As they said in a recent statement,
Article 8 is "the main opposition group" standing in their way. Read the latest
homosexual activist emails. Here's the list of their targeted
legislative races. MORE HOMOSEXUAL LOBBY
ENDORSEMENTS As we said last time, we thought we'd
had our list of all their endorsements up to date. But Nooooo. The homosexual lobby has added even more,
both incumbents and challengers, even reps who are unopposed. They want to add as many traitors to their
roster as they can, just before the election, to give the appearance
of strength. Here's MassEquality's list of endorsements. Here's our list (not updated yet!)
of other homosexual PAC endorsements. === 5. Romney Republicans teaming
up with gays against pro-family legislators. === Don't get us started on how the Romney
Republicans have caved in to and co-opted with the gay movement
in Massachusetts. Two
of the most egregious examples are: Rep Philip Travis (D-Rehoboth). You know how Romney is going around
the country talking how he supports a constitutional amendment in
Mass. for marriage? Well,
Rep. Travis was the courageous rep who sponsored it.
So to punish him, the gays got a pro-homosexual Republican,
Steven Howitt, to run against him.
And Romney's team of RINO Republicans jumped right in, funding
a SPECIAL full-time operative just to help beat Travis, working
hand in hand (no pun intended) with MassEquality and the other homosexual
lobbies. The result? Over the last few weeks a barrage of unbelievable
attack mailings against Travis, funded by one or the other, have
been flooding the district.
Really bad stuff, even accusing Travis of extortion! (Of course, never discussing Howitt's
funding from the homosexual lobby.) Our favorite, though is the Howitt
mailing that brags that the Republican is solidly pro-abortion,
while his Democrat opponent, Travis, is "against a woman's right
to choose." Not your father's Republican party, to
be sure. Rep. Shirley Gomes (R-Harwich) It doesn't get much worse than this.
Gomes is up against a horrible lesbian activist, Sarah Peake,
whose claim to fame is that she pushed an ordinance in Provincetown
to allow public nudity. The homosexual lobby has targeted Gomes
for defeat because of her pro-marriage stand. Article 8 Alliance started printing a
mailing to defend Gomes and inform the district of Peake's true
background and support. But the State Republican Party refused
to release the names of the voters, on Gomes' behalf, so we could
get the mailing out. We
tried to work with them, but became clear that they didn't want
to be seen as confronting the homosexual movement; they only want
to campaign "on the issues" (whatever that means).
Luckily, we got a list from another source, and the mailing
went out, though to a reduced amount of current names. Gil Lavoie and others . . . Gil Lavoie is running an incredible
campaign against Sen. Robert Travaglini (D-East Boston). We really can't stress how unbelievable
a job he's doing in that district.
But he's getting almost NO HELP AT ALL from the Republican
Party. The message he's gotten is clear: Romney
doesn't want to upset the powerful Senate president by actually
putting money into defeating him.
Trav, you'll remember, is the architect of the cave-in to
the gay movement on the constitutional amendment.
What a disgrace. The Republican Party has sold out its
principles. Just one more reason why Article 8
Alliance had to step in to make the difference in these races. === 6. HELP NEEDED ON MONDAY
& TUESDAY. GET
ON BOARD!!
=== Do you have some time to help? Poll workers. Literature drops. Leafleting. Callers (from home). Call us at 781-899-4905 or email us back
(from here or via
website) for more information.
A lot of people are helping, BUT WE CAN ALWAYS USE MORE! (In particular, Rep. Vinnie Ciampa
needs all the people he can get, on the ground in Somerville. As you've seen, the homosexual activists
are REALLY targeting this race, and will be flooding the district
with their "volunteers." Watch
for a lot of cars with New Jersey & New York license plates. You can call his campaign at: 617-628-3123.) === 7. Fundraising update toward $100,000 goal. === We've now raised over $37.675
toward that $100,000 goal! THE FINAL DAYS BEFORE THE ELECTION.
. . CAN WE BEAT $40,000 BY TUESDAY? Monday morning we'll be writing lots
of checks, and we're committed to thousands more. But, as we've been saying, candidates
have been depending on us. We can't lose these important races,
or just imagine what the Legislature will be like. There's a reason the Boston Globe
and others have started to attack Article 8 Alliance. It's because we're effective. Our targeted informational mailings, mobilization
of citizens from across the Commonwealth, strategic press conferences,
helping candidates understand and fight the juggernaut of the homosexual
movement coming into their district to take over. These all make a difference. And the homosexual lobby can't stand it! And as you know, we've been up against
the huge funding that the homosexual movement has generated for
to take over our Legislature. That's why your donations these last
few days are REALLY helping us.
Every dollar is important. We're
here to get the job done.
And we won't let you down. This
is a fight we must not lose. AS
WEVE BEEN SAYING ALL ALONG ITS UP TO THE PEOPLE NOW!
THIS CAN AND WILL BE WON. Donate to
