NEWS ITEM – GOOD NEWS FOR A CHANGE!!:   School Censored Christian Student from Expressing Her Religious Views Against Homosexuality—Ordered to Pay $102,738   [Thomas Moore Law Center–Oct 5]  School district ordered to pay six-figure settlement for damages to student from militant anti-religious homosexual agenda pushed in her high school.  Another reason why we need to keep up the fight!!  (If link doesn’t work, try this one.)

NEWS ITEM:   DiMasi announces appointments to panel reviewing House rules  [Boston Globe–Oct 9]  A prelude of things to come.  The state rep (now Speaker!) who openly and mockingly ignored the rules of the House of Representatives to bottle up the Bill of Address has now decided to appoint a panel to “reform” the rules.  And look at the list of appointees – a who’s who of the wacky radical left.  And notice that DiMasi also wants to rescind a 1978 vote of the people and relax the ethics rules (dredging up a bill submitted, of course, by the Republicans), so legislators can accept more money from special interests.

 ===  1.  Rep. Vinnie Ciampa to take on anti-Catholic gay activist Carl Sciortino as write-in !!!  === BREAKING NEWS.  At 5 pm Tuesday, Oct. 12, after much anticipation, Rep. Vinnie Ciampa (D-Somerville) announced that he's back in the race for his House seat he lost by 96 votes in the Sept. 14 primary, as a write-in candidate.   Prominent homosexual activist Carl Sciortino, who made headlines across the country when he disrupted a Catholic Mass with his gay lover in protest of the Church's position on homosexual marriage, won the primary with massive financial and organizational help from state and national homosexual groups.   Not only did Sciortino and his allies strenuously avoid the entire homosexual issue in the campaign, but the Boston media, including the Globe, Herald, and even radio talk show hosts, refused to mention his sordid anti-Catholic activities, despite numerous press releases by Article 8 Alliance.  In addition, Ciampa also avoided the issue for fear of attack by the pro-gay media, a move he later realized was ill-advised, he told Article 8 supporters. Click here for more on Sciortino's history of bizarre activities. Our challenge is now before us.  Any write-in campaign is an uphill battle.  Can we allow this detestable person to become a member of the Massachusetts Legislature, making our laws and carrying on his odious agenda?  And think what the psychological and intimidation effect this will have on every other rep and senator, not only in Massachusetts but around the country, that the homosexual movement can use its muscle to throw out a pro-marriage elected official and replace him with one of their own. Think about that.  We must win this fight.  We need your help, not only personally but financially (see below).  Time is short.  The election is in just 3 weeks.  Don't stand on the sidelines.  Email us back now if you can help. And we'll keep you posted on the course of events.

===  2.  Boston Globe reporters react to your calls.  === As we mentioned, the Boston media, and the Globe in particular, has exhibited the most flagrant exhibition of outright biased reporting we've ever seen, in the Ciampa / Sciortino situation.  Mainly, they've refused to allow any mention of Carl Sciortino's disgusting anti-Catholic activities, even though they took place only last year and were reported in the Globe and other papers across the country. [At this writing, we haven't seen the Globe and Herald reports on Ciampa's re-entry in the race. See if they mention it THERE!] Last week, we suggested you contact two particular Globe reporters, Raphael Lewis and Michael Jonas, who wrote a couple of puff pieces on Sciortino and, as usual, conveniently leaving out anything about his less appealing past activities.  Well, many of you did.   And they generally replied to everyone in the same condescending way: that they didn't know anything about this (even though it's easily found in the Globe's web archives) and even so, his anti-Catholic political activities are not relevant to these articles because they are about Sciortino ELECTION-related activities!  Well, excuse us!  You can bet your life if it had been any "conservative" candidate, it would be front and center in every single thing written about the guy. It's really amazing that these people actually have the nerve to call themselves journalists.

===  3.  Event on Thursday.  ===

  THURS, OCT 14 Candidate debate Rep. Shirley Gomes (pro-traditional marriage) vs Sarah Peak (openly gay challenger, endorsed & supported by homosexual PACs). Rep. Gomes could use support of regular people.  The gays are sure to try and pack the place.  We need to show these legislators that we aren't afraid to show up and be counted. 7:00 pm, Nauset Regional High School, Eastham, MA Sponsored by League of Women Voters. (Need we say more?)

===  4.  Fundraising update toward $100,000 goal.   ===

Last week we announced our goal of raising $100,000 by the end of the month.   There were already 5 pro-marriage Mass. legislators being targeted by the national homosexual lobby, and over two dozen other seats that could go either way, with probably over a million dollars of gay money and their huge organizations pushing hard.  And only Article 8 Alliance (and you) standing in the way.  Now, with the opportunity to bring back Vinnie Ciampa, this is even more important. (Not to mention Rep. Phil Travis (D-Rehoboth), sponsor of the pro-marriage Constitutional Amendment, who's being heavily targeted by the gays AND the Republicans.)  Click here for the list.   We're now about $2,840 toward that $100,000 goal.  Are we serious about this?  We've got to get into high gear right away.  (We owe more than that in our office rent & utilities, for crying out loud!)  If you can donate, we really need your help.  If you can't, can you do something, make calls, etc., to help raise money?   [Actually, it's the gays and liberals who are usually the recipients of "big" donations.  Wealthy conservatives, by and large, can't be bothered with anything cutting edge like this, that might embarrass them if anyone found out.  They'd would rather give their money to think tanks, or try to buy political access through big political party donations.  If anything is to get done, it's through individuals like you.]

  (Remember, all that is needed for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.)

AS WE’VE BEEN SAYING ALL ALONG – IT’S UP TO THE PEOPLE NOW!  THIS CAN AND WILL BE WON.
