V I C T O R Y !!!
Your hard work, your phone calling, your sign holding, and (not the least) your donations paid off! Homosexual groups put together a national effort to defeat seven pro-traditional marriage incumbents in Tuesday’s primary. Literally, no one had ever seen anything like this. But we held them back in 6 races. Only in 1 race, where they put in extraordinary money and people, did they win by a sliver of 117 votes!
NEWS ITEMS: (We’ve got a few good ones – scroll to the bottom to see them).
Here’s how the seven targeted incumbents fared:
[Note: This was a well-coordinated joint effort by the homosexual groups. We found that in addition to getting funding through the same homosexual websites & other sources, they also coordinated their mailings. It’s clear that all their mailings were produced by the same designers, and mailed from the same mail houses. (And none of the mailings mentioned any gay issues!) Also, they shared phone banks in downtown Boston where dozens of callers at a time could be working all day and evening. BUT WE FOUGHT BACK! ]

NEWS ITEM: Boston Herald’s assessment of the primary [Boston Herald–Sept 15] Titled “Gay lobby's clout seen in incumbent's primary loss” this is very informative, but is slanted towards the reporter’s pro-gay bias. And of course, even though the Herald knows quite well what we’re doing, they avoid direct mention of Article 8 Alliance. News Item: Homosexual groups are “warning” their activists about Article 8 Alliance / Parents Rights Coalition. It appears that we’re ruining their plans to mold our Legislature, and that makes them a tad angry. Click at: www.MassEquality.org/hot_salem.php THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING. THE GENERAL ELECTION WILL BE MUCH TOUGHER!!!The gays have targeted several MORE incumbents, have more horrible candidates, are raising more money, and doing more and more organizing. We can’t rest on our laurels – we must keep up the fight. Otherwise. . . what will our legislature look like next year???? We are here to fight for you! At this critical time, every dollar is desperately needed and greatly appreciated.
